2.Jesus knew the limitations of the storm.
**1 Corinthians 10:13 - “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to humanity. God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation He will also provide a way of escape so you are able to bear it.”
B.How do we avoid worrying about our problems?
1.Realize Jesus / God is not worried about your problems
2.Realize that Jesus is not surprised about your problems
3.Realize that every storm will end
III. Jesus always had power over the storm
A. V. 26-27, Jesus never doubted His authority
1.Jesus rebukes the unbelief - v. 26a
2.Jesus rebukes the problem - v. 26b
3.The storm obeyed
B. How do we have power over our problems
1.Repent of your unbelief
2.Surrender the problem to the authority of Jesus
3.Wait for the great calm
(Lam. 3: 25-26, “The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him. It is good to wait quietly for deliverance from the Lord.”)
